  4. That sounds good......... for dieting it's good to restrict your amount of carbs... so go easy on the bread, cereal and pasta because even small servings are pretty high in calories.... eat more vegetables... which are also carbs, but lower calories... often just 50 calories a cup. Also drinking tea is good. No calories and it can help fill up your stomach. Since you like Diet Snapple, you might want to try Propel... you can buy the bottles or the flavor packets to add to water. It's only about 10 calories a serving. I keep track of my macronutrients (fats, carbs, protein) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) using a free fitday.com account. It's helpful to keep track of the calories and percentages. You should figure out your daily maintenance calories and then aim for 200 calories below the maintenance to lose weight. There are websites that can calculate daily maintenance calories, but they are all different.... for me, I got an average of 1,600 calories.... but within a range of figures. I'm not sure which website is best to use... it's just an estimate anyway. You'll have to work with trial and error to see what daily calories have you losing your weight. But I do have a link to an awesome calorie calculator. You type in your calories and your percentages of fats, protein and carbs and it will give you the gram amounts of each per day. Also it gives you a variety of percentage formats to choose from... for example, the Zone Diet is 30% fat, 30% protein and 40% carbs. Good luck!

  6. It appears to me you forgot the wholesome carrots. Carrots should be the #1 item on any vegetarian shopping list.
  7. well, first of all i would recommend ditching the diet snapple, aspartame and artificial sweeteners have actually been shown to cause cancer. as for additional foods, try some tempeh, kale, lara bars, and mangoes. saute kale like you would spinach, and add garlic, its great if cooked properly!
