Help me with a Grocery Shopping List?
Due to reduced finances, I am attempting to eat out less and grocery shop for most of what I will eat throughout the week. Without knowing what foods I like, list some items that you think may be helpful to me in a weekly list that will also keep me away from eating out. I have most staples already and I'm single. TIA.

- Head of lettuce Vinaigrette dressing Loaf of bread Lunchmeat Mayo Butter Mustard Head of garlic 2 onions Olive oil Soy sauce Large packet of boneless skinless chicken breasts Pork tenderloin Skirt steak Tortillas Salsa Chips Beans Bag of calrose rice (Japanese rice) Head of broccoli Avocado Apples Cucumber Pasta 2 large cans crushed tomatoes English muffins Eggs Shredded cheese Milk/soda/water/juice Cereal You can make MANY different combinations of things with the list above!!!!!
- if you have a few jars of spaghetti sauce round, different styles, and various pastas and rices, then I would stock up on a variety of frozen veggies, and one pound packages of frozen fish. Three pound bag of chicken breasts which you could easily bone at home and save a quarter a pound, could be dividied and frozen individually. Get a pork loin and have it portioned into chops, a small roast and the rest into chops. Get pork steaks if you want to go cheaper and have them as steaks, or sliced thinly and used in stir fry. enough fo starters?
- Well you left out 1 very important piece of information...Do you cook? Well, I'll list items as if you do.... spices (you can get them from the Dollar Tree. Spices such as pepper, salt, seasoning salt, Adobo---that spice goes on everything, garlic salt/powder---these are the basics) chicken fish cereal milk ground beef steak bacon eggs tuna bread meat cold cuts rice veggies (don't forget onions and bell pepper) fruits butter vegetable or canola oil pasta and sauce condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, salad dresing) lettuce cheese crackers canned soups peanut butter jelly .....These are the basics...that can get you through any week if you cook
- You can use the following for any of your sandwiches: Green Olives(1 bottle) , Black Olives(1 Can), Bellpeppe (1 pc), Red Wine Vinegar (get the cheapest), Olive Oil (get the cheapest)... mayo, dijon mustard Dice the Olives and Bellpeppers, Drizzle about 2 tablespoon of red wine vinegar Drizzle 2 tablespoon of Olive Oil Season with salt and pepper When preparing sandwiches, put a spoonful or 2, splatter mayo and dijon Then store it in a container and put in the fridge. You can use it instead of using lettuce on your sandwiches. Tastes better too. You will love it regardless what sliced meat you have in the fridge. Oh also, it's also good with hotdog in a bun. If you have this as what i consider and call Muffulleta then there wont be any reason to buy sandwich out. Saves you money. A lot of money.
- gallon of milk box of cereal ( try the store brands you may like them) bag of potatos loaf of bread hamburger meat ( eat on regular bread) cheese ( for hamburgers or grilled cheese sandwhich) hot dogs ( eat on regular bread) box of ice cream sandwhichs 2 frozen pizzas
- I have had a lot of experience shopping with little money! The most economical thing to buy is PASTA! I would buy pasta's and can Diced tomatoes. I like the one with the Balsamic Vinegar,Basil &olive oil . I put it on pasta as it is or some time i mix it with a can of chili! Eat it with or without pasta! I buy ground round meat and mix it with a chopped onion, 1 egg and stove top stuffing. make patty's and fry! Salad's too! But to make a quick and fast meal i buy a loaf of rye bread, lunchmeat and a few deli dill pickles! i buy the lunchmeat on sale and freeze some untill i need it! These are a few, that i was sugesstions! Good Luck!
