Perspective Student Visa holder arriving in the UK – from Canada?

I am still in the process of applying for my Perspective Student Visa. But I want to have everything in order for all the steps I need to take to be a student in the UK. I want to be able to apply for my Student Visa while I am in the UK. I would like to avoid the extra expense of having to fly back to Canada then return to the UK just because I forgot to “dot an i or cross a t”, if that is at all possible. I want to study in Wales. I am not sure if I will be accepted to a University or have to do some schooling at a college my first year or two in the UK. So let us say for now that I have my Perspective Student Visa, I am packed and ready to leave. What should I make double and triple checks of to make certain I have in my carryon bag when I land in the UK? What do I need for this? 1)The entire list of documents sent in for my Perspective Student Visa 2)A document if I am bringing medication into the country? a)I was told that I might need one of these, but was not told what it is called. b)Do I need one of these and if so what is the document called and where would I get one? 3)Maintenance - Copy of my bank statement showing that I have how much money available for my stay while looking? 4)What information do I need about here and who I will be staying with while I am in the UK looking at schools? 5)What all should be in my itinerary? I am a bit worried I will not be showing enough things to have to do while I am there. Or that I will have too much information and they would find that odd as well. So what is too much/too little information on a itinerary? a)How exact should it be? EI – On May 3 I go to blank university then May 5 I am going to this one. b)How many schools are we expected to look at while in the UK for the full 6 months? c)Is there a minimum amount of schools? d)Are we allowed to do some sightseeing? Or is this just for looking into studies? e)Are we allowed to look around at the cities and towns in and near the schools? Seeing libraries, shops and just getting a general feel for the area. Should this time be calculated in and listed on the itinerary? 6)What kind of question could I be asked when I arrive? Are there any questions they are not allowed to ask? I have no problem answering anything, just want to be prepared. Is there anything else I should bring or know? If there are any other suggestions anyone would care to make, I would appreciate it. I am finding this whole process a bit daunting. Oops I spelt it wrong: Prospective Student VAT10 http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/ecg/visitandtransit/prospectivestudent VAT10.1 "Once a prospective student has been unconditionally accepted for a course of study they may apply for leave to remain as a Student in-country. 1. I have already answered one of our questions. You should apply for normal full time Students visa. Prospective student visa is actually a Type C visit visa, with extra remark of allowing one to study. Its not extendible & you will have to leave UK after six months, to return to ur home country & then apply for full time Student visa. For that I please check my answer to your other questions.
