  1. C.C Sabathia-- The pitch count is just another meaningless number when it comes to CC. He could go an entire game and stay sharp the whole time. But then again, I'm probably biased, CC is a Yankee! =)
  2. D) Santana is in the easy division it pitch.
  3. Any one of these guys are capable but based purely on stuff and the defense behind them I have to think it would be Greinke. He has stuff that is every bit as good or better than the others on this list, he induces a lot of K's and ground balls and the Royals have a very good defensive infield. But none of them would shock me if they did it.
  4. I would go with C.C or Felix C.C because you know he has the stamina and he can throw 120+ pitches. He was 2 outs away from a perfect with the brewers against the pirates but the guy bunted and he couldn't get a good grip on the ball. So he defiantly has the stuff to do it Felix because he is so dominate at 23 years old. He can only get better. He has a great change-up that can fool anybody an a awesome fastball that tops out at 98 mph!!
  5. Roy Halladay. He plays for the Phillies, the best offensive team in the NL east, so he doesn't have to worry about facing them. And with the Nats and Mets who are horrible offensively, his chances are pretty good. Exceopt for the Marlins. Plus, being great in the AL east, with the Yankees, Rays, BoSox, he'll be unbelievable in the NL.
  6. I'd say CC has the LEAST chance, b/c he walks to many batters (hence high pitch counts...) Halladay, Felix, Grienke, Johan could do it, Gallardo still needs to bring his walks down.
  7. If Mike Witt and Tom Browning could do it, ANY of the guys on your list can.
  8. Roy Halladay. The guy is like a machine, it's scary. We all know how great of a pitcher he is. He's also led the league in complete games multiple times and most of those are shut-outs, and he's finished in the top 5 for Cy Young.. fives times, I believe it is. He's unbelievable; arguably the most dominant and consistent starting pitching in all of baseball for the last several years. I think he would be the most likely to pitch a perfect game. He already came very close to a perfect game in his second career start.. backup second basemen Felipe Craspo had an error that ruined it, but he allowed no other baserunners until 2 outs in the 9th, when he gave up a solo homerun.
  9. A) Roy Halladay One of the best pitchers in the game today, he definitely could do it.
  10. Halladay or Santana
  11. Well, first of all I wouldn't be surprised if any of them pitched perfect games. But, the one with the best chance to do so, in my mind, is Roy Halladay. He's been in the division of my favorite team for years so I've got to see him pitch a lot and he's always really impressed me. Whenever my team, the Red Sox, are playing against him I get a bit nervous about that game.
  12. Yovani Gallardo, this guys young and has pitched full games...a few shut-outs. A perfect game is coming. You heard it here first. But in all honesty any one of these guys could pitch a perfect game.
  13. I think that King Felix could actually do it. The guy is a true ace, one of the best in the game, and he's only 23. He has a long and very successful looking career ahead of him and it wouldn't surprise me if he pulled it off.
  14. they all have a great chance of doing so. so does every pitcher in the league. I say Gallardo
  15. I'll go with Felix Hernandez. Like whats been said, he's a dominant pitcher already at 23 years old. He has a good defense behind him. He has great stamina and knows how to keep good hitters off guard. My second choice would be Zach Greinke or Roy Halladay( if he's not pitching in Citizens Bank Park)
  16. Roy Halladay and he could do it this year, he is going to destroy hitters in the NL East. Look for a runaway Cy Young win also. I say he wins 20 games easy.
  17. A) Roy Halladay, he pitches so many complete games he's bound to get a no-no or a perfect game sooner or later. B) Zack Greinke, he also pitches so many complete games, you would think he would get a perfecto. G) Awww come on, no Tim Lincecum? He had two shutouts last year, and even took a no-no into the 7th against the Padres. H) Jonathon Sanchez? Haha hey who knows, maybe lightning will strike twice. It certainly did for Mark Buehrle.
  18. King Felix :)
  19. A) Roy Halladay B) Zack Greinke
  20. Zack Greinke.
  21. A) roy halliday
  22. Halladay Sabathia Hernandez
  23. ...actually all of them could if they get the breaks and have some luck.
  24. I've always believed that those pitchers who end up throwing no-hitters are the same pitchers who have the strength consistently go 7,8 and 9 innings most of the time. Pitch counts don't mean much to those types of pitchers. From this list and this list only I would have to say that, A) Roy Halladay stands the best chance of the 6 listed. He is a stud and that's what you need to achieve a no-no.
  25. A
  26. 1) Halladay- he goes the distance 2) Santana- he has the right stuff
  27. Just to start off, i would like to say that i hate the yankees. I do however, believe that C.C. has the best chance out of all the pitchers on that list. He is not the best, but has the best chance. For perfect games, it is not always about the pitcher, but the fielding(i.e. Mark Buehrle). The yankees have a strong field and could help towards a perfect game. Also, C.C. would probably do towards the end of the year. If not C.C. then it would be Halladay, just by pure talent.
