Might be a rediculous question...?

I have decided to finally ditch the leggings trend.. but i still dont really like the bare legs too much.. so i am going to go buy tights/stockings my question is.. can someone give me a basic shopping list... what styles and colors i should get to be set? ( i am a teenager) oh, and i didnt ask about your opinions on tights and leggings.. if you dont like them then the question wasnt directed at you. go take out your agressions on someone you actually know.

1. no offense but unless it is winter and really cold and you are not wearing a skirt or dress to your knee don't wear tights. It is tacky and should not be done. Leggings or nothing at all. Thats all I've got to say. I'm a teenager too.
2. why ditch the leggings? they`re still in. & i don`t think you should wear tights/stockings in the summer. i`m a teenager also.
3. I'm not a teenager and I say ditch the leggings!! Who cares if some fashion guru says they are still "in". If you don't want to wear them, don't. Anyway, can someone who is probably more in touch with "fashion" than I am , tell me what is the difference between leggings and tights? Aren't leggings just tights with the feet cut off? And please, whatever you choose to wear, tights, leggings, whatever, I do not need to see anything above your thigh area ... if you get my meaning!! Anyway, back to your question, just go with whatever makes you feel comfortable.
4. I love tights and stockings! I usually dress in very colorful tights for fun or I wear them for leg support + warmth. Here's a list of a few favorite tights I can't go without: *Fishnets: black, purple, pink, yellow...any color looks fun *Stripes: black+white or any color combination. *Solid colored: grey, black - usually goes nice when you are trying to dress up nice, instead of looking wild. *Black with stars, hearts, or any other pattern on them *Oval Net tights: reminds me of fishnets, but they are even cooler *Animal Print: leopard, tiger... I bought all my tights off of eBay. It's way too hard looking for a nice pair elsewhere. 5. try forever 21 or wetseal i am also a teen and know what you are saying.....i would wear compris' or skirt to get used to your legs showing again! but about the stores i mentioned, really try em'!
6. i think loose thigh length tshirts with a big belt on hips, really short tight skirt + off shoulder top or frilly skirt with a cute tshirt may be racer back type should look great with tights/ stockings. I really appreciate your guts to not wanting to follow the trends. I've always been like you. I don't like wearing what everyone else around me is wearing. We end up looking like flocks.
