1. Finding recipes for special diets isn't difficult. I did a search on yahoo. Lots of results. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Diabetic&su=&fr=ush-health - You might have to play with the various sites until you find ones you really like.
2. The American Diabeties Association. They probably have a branch office in your city with classes and info.
3. Visit your local health department or go to the American Diabetes Association web site. A local Dietitian recommended by your PCP is another option.
