- First, do you cook, or do you do prepared meals (like out of the microwave) or use a toaster oven or regular oven??? Do you cook from scratch or do a "semi-homemade" deal on the stove??? Some details would help us answer your question better......thanks!! Christopher

- it depends can you cook? if not go with Frozen foods for the microwave.
- Smithfield, Hormel, Armour have packages of PRE-COOKED beef tips, roast, pot roast, pork roast, chicken, ham, meatload. Use this for your meat dish with a side dish or two of vegetables, rice, or potatoes. You will find these packages near the meat section, they are not frozen. Tyson's fully cooked whole chickens are delicious. I serve them often with S&W canned sweet potatoes, Stove-Top dressing, microwave chicken/turkey gravy, a vegetable, cranberry sauce, and Pillsbury Microwave Biscuits which are better than I can make. A frozen pie defrosted and fully cooked. Perfect for one or two people at Thanksgiving or Christmas. ````````````````````` You can buy a roasted chicken or two at your supermarket's deli section. They also have all types of salads and vegetables already cooked. Another thing you can do is cook in a slow cooker or a crock-pot. You put the meat meal into the crock-pot in the morning and it cooks all day long. The meal is ready at dinner time. Be sure to read the booklet that comes with the crock-pot. Here are some recipes for you: . Beef Recipes in Crock Pot (see other types of meats at the very bottom of this link): http://www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/beef-crock-pot-recipes/index.htm . - Lots of frozen things, quick meals, such as frozen dinners, pizza, etc. They make some really good frozen meals now, not just hungry man, but meals like chicken alfredo, etc. Reason: if you are only cooking for yourself, why make a huge mess, but, if you are having friends over, then use the ideas of the others. Also, bagged salad, with other fresh veggies, single portions, nothing big. Also, dont forget the toilet paper, paper towels and paper plates.
- Spices (garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, basil, etc.) for cooking; Cake mixes and frosting for snacks; Cooking oil; potatoes and rice; Kool Aid or Crystal Light (for when you run out of everything else); spaghetti/macaroni and red and white sauce to go with them; and all the basics mentioned above. Don't forget the bread.
- This seasoning for beef. http://www.spadelranch.com/
- put on your list anything you like to eat. better if you can cook it and develop a balanced meal-or a balanced meal plan for the whole day (takes less planning) plan on making at least one new dish every week or couple of weeks. if you don't know how, invest in some very simple cookbooks (with 3, 4, or 5 ingredents and pictures. soon you will know what to put on your list. if you are really a klutz in the kitchen, and don't know the first ihing about cooking, call your mom.
